Founded in 2020, an emerging passion for timeless texture and artistic craftsmanship saw the establishment of TXTURE. Specialists in unique decorative finishes and custom artistic furniture handmade on the Gold Coast, Australia.
Founder, Brad Hartwig’s knowledge spans over 30 years as a carpenter and drywall plasterer. It was throughout his journey that a deep passion for the craft of decorative finishes, quality materials and artistic freedom developed. This passion was quickly picked up by Brad's son, Cooper, a skilled tradesman and now valued member of the TXTURE team.

Render is a coarse sand and cement mix, predominantly used on the external of your home. Render provides a smooth, textured finish over bricks, blocks or foam. Venetian plaster, commonly known as lime plaster, is applied as a decorative finish inside the home.
We are specialists in Venetian/Lime plasters, utilizing the broad spectrum of decorative finish options. Ranging from a thin polished finish to a coarse grain plaster to create depth and texture.

The primary difference between lime plaster and microcement is the durability of the finish which determines where each material within the project is used.
Microcement is a cementitious based compound with added polymers which act as an additional coating increasing its strength and durability. Microcement is mostly used in high traffic areas such as bathrooms and flooring. Microcement can also be used on low-traffic areas.
Lime plaster is a decorative finish commonly used to create aesthetically pleasing walls and textured finishes in areas that have limited traffic.
